The caps are all pcb mounted. The two pairs of 12000uFs are on a board with a lot of copper (I didn't etch it, I milled the copper away where it wasn't wanted) close to the bridges, so the charging currents are away from the electronics. Then there are 4 wires to the 6800uFs on the main pcb. The star ground is between the 6800uFs.
I haven't got round to putting any polys across the bridges yet, or bypassing the electrolytics - the latter probably isn't necessary as all the electrolytics on the main board are bypassed with 100nF.
