The Hybrid SIT Parafeed

I dont want to go into theory, so please could you
explain to me what would be the reflected load for the SIT in autoformer setting.
My thoughts are the 50ohm winding + 8R from speaker or?

My circuit topology is the same as yours. I'm measureing without a load. Maybe the SIT has a high Rds where the devices I use don't.

Please post your schematic. The SIT has a 1-2ohm D-S resistance.
Why dont you try 2SK82?

is all ready in triode configuration?
If not do you have experiment with this option?

Ok and what happen with sound if is in classic tetrode connection?

Can be direct heated triode like 26 adaptable to sit hybrid amp

Shure cost more bucks but for tube fans real direct heated triode
is a best top musicality apreciated divice , be nice try some day
make dhtriode mix with sit

I never tried tetrode connected.
I assume whit CCS mu output its possible. You can get low output
impedance below 600R. DHT 26 is a very smooth sounding tube,
this would make a very nice combination. Try it out...) But you will have way higher input sensitivity.
I had the 26 pre amp but sold it, cos I dont need it anymore.
Whit 6e5p or 6e6p I have a very high sensitive input and a lots of gain.
I am driving my DAC directly whit hybrid SIT, I mean direct after I/V resistor conversion take place...Its absolutly amazing, clean, colorfull, natural...STOP...I know,,,)

Mu follower opens up a lot of driver choices...But only whit Pimms battery CCS. Others I tested sounded harsh, not so natural at all...

Made a mistake...But you will have way lower input sensitivity whit 26 tube as

My intention be find possibility to modifying without big extra cost and easy to come back if not better sounding.Some diyers take care about mechanical microvibration of transformers like on photo from blog VynilSavor this black rubber fits be cheap and make less vibrate box mechanical distortions factor.
Yes i want build dht tube preamplifier for the moment i have spare 26's at home but this is diy for year 2015 if all be

with Jensens i just wait for last word from upcoming BAF Papa article

Anyway i enjoy hybridsit amp thread and wish You find it ultimate sweet spot from Your topology :yinyang:

Thank you. I think I found a really good spot. I am only enjoying the music,
this is a good sign...

I understand, I also planed to be able to return back to L simple SIT if hybridSIT wouldnt work, but fortunately this didnt happen.
First time I realise how much a very good speaker means in a good sound system. I recommend SITs only whit absolutely best speakers to play whit...
Right now I am using ACR concrete speakers but when they wont work anymore, they are 30years old and cant be repaired cos of jordan wattson modified drivers, I will need to buy something like danley sh-60 or else...

No, I didnt...It sounds so good I dont want to change anything...
But I will try someday dont worry...

years ago , with WOT preamp

it was interesting but I opted eventually to go without parafeed - OPT was that good

however , if parafeed is a must , I think autoformer on end is better solution then "regular" arrangement , due to tighter coupling
