Yes, there could be considered a quad match, since each N came from the same sorting bin, as did each P. That does not mean that there are not differences.

Yes. The gold markings are on the NFETs, silver on the PFETs. When in doubt look carefully for the FQA28N15 or FQA36P15 marking of the FET.
No attempt was made to match the 2 NFETs to the 2 PFETs.

My feeling is both will be outstanding in their own way. But I'm almost leaning towards Lynn's creation with one of my own front end solutions.

1. "Are there any pcbs/FET still available?": It would be relatively easy to order more PCBs. You would have to source your own FETs do some simple matching.
2. "Will this OPS work with the 2022 DIY FE?": It would probably work as a front-end with no global feedback. I do not know how well.
