Yeah, I also felt that the original title was a bit inappropriate for the Aleph legacy, so this is a new one.
I did the change yesterday, by shorting output series resistor (0.1 ohm) and disconnecting another C10 and R21. I also removed output to ground resistor (100 ohm). Nothing changed, the bias values stayed exactly the same and offset is stable without a change as well.
I didn't do much listening tests because it was late already, but my initial impression was that I could hear much more low level detail. Other things didn't impressed me as changed much and overall sonic character stays the same. I will do more comparisons today.
