There are web sites that I use, of corse, but to make a good anagram still takes quite a bit of effort, or sometimes luck, and maybe skill.
On another site, we had a song thread running where one had to guess the song from the clues the last person posted. I took to making up anagrams for that, and got about 8 goodish ones together, each requiring quite a bit of time investment, but when people who like winning rather than thinking, started using the same anagram generating maschines, instead of their brains, to solve the puzzle in the matter of half a minute, I gave up.

Here are some of the ones I made up, if you fancy trying to figure them out, some are quite easy, and most are well known tunes, but others are a bit more obscure;

Confused ? - Its when two avow to a link. ( 1 4 2 4 4 4 2 )
In more ways than one, this is very twisted - I Mallet Head ( Kinkiest Fetish ) - [ 2 3 2 ( 3 2 4 4 1 4 ) ]
The rearrangment - many croon now. (2 5 2 3)
Crass odors - rehabilitation. ( 10 )
Retired two garble overdub - confusing the swansong. ( 6 4 8 5) P.S. - Got them by the short and curlies.
Turmoil - within a skewed doll ( 4 2 3 4 4 )
