Armed forces in the song title, but I'm banning a certain song by the Village People!

I've sorted out the problem with the last two posts and deleted the original no.7 for not being in English and being off topic. All the offerings so far have been army related. How about one of the other armed forces for no.15?

This is a music thread - not an English language thread. I have posted italian opera peices with the italian name. I have posted German Krautrock pieces with the German name. I have seen French posts, Portugees, Spanish.... I have seen American slang posts that I don't know the meaning of......so whats the problem with a bit of Rusky ...if the translation is also there....like it was this time.
I have no problems with it, but I do not like dictatorial edits with self implied rules that are not of the cōnsēnsus.

As this is an English language site I feel the posts should be in English first. If a poster wants to translate into another language afterwards then that's another issue.

I disagree, this is a music thread and as the OP never specified that only music with English Titles could be included I think this is at least, small minded and petty at worst it is prejudice, something that sadly seems to have come back into fashion lately. Music is a universal thing and I think we should celebrate this fact by including songs/music in all languages ( with English translation for clarity )

I assumed "Armed forces in the song title"- meant relating to the armed forces, not " one of the armed forces by name" should be in the title. One could, and I certainly did, see it this way, and...........what was obviously an exclusive "rule for the list" for The Village People, I so wanted to somehow get a homosexual in the back door ;)

Cal are you watching, what is your ruling as moderator?
Yes I'm watching, no I'm not moderating. We are not allowed to take action in a thread we are involved in, nor take action against members we either like or dislike. Since I hate all of you, I'm just one of the guys here.

My opinion is we follow the rules: Post in English, but if there is a reason to post in another language, them also post the translation. I don't see any ambiguity.

Since we are also allowed members of the armed forces:

01 - Army Dreamers - Kate Bush
02 - In The Army Now - Status Quo
03 - Allied Forces - Triumph
04 - Army Of Me - Bjork
05 - Ally's Tartan Army - Andy Cameron
06 - You and Whose Army - Radiohead
07 - Infantry - Siouxsie & The Banshees
08 - Oliver's Army - Elvis Costello
09 - Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes
10 - (I'm) The Only Gay Soldier Left In Iraq - The Self Righteous Brothers
11 - Stop the Cavalry - Jona Lewie
12 - Soldiers of Misfortune - Filter
13 - Rub a Dub Soldier - Paul Blake & The Blood Fire Posse
14 - Corporal Clegg - Pink Floyd
15 - Nobody Speaks To The Captain No More - Jimmy Buffett
