I think the song was implying utopia in a sarcastic sense, am I wrong?

Surely, that's the opposite of utopia.

I was reading up on this and it seems rather disturbingly ( IMO ) that the song considers genetic engineering in a positive sense. On the plus side it does seem to fit the theme, albeit in a way I'm a bit uneasy with.

One person's idea of heaven is another's of hell, such is the dualistic nature of thought.
