Teac x1000R will not record in forward
(Has been serviced cleaned, greased, new teac belt)
It will record in reverse fine ok
Plays in forward and Plays in reverse fine ok
The problem is the slide rail / Solenoid that drives the 3 long switches on the bottom board middle area will not move when I touch play/rec in forward
(If I push the slide rail / Solenoid that drives the 3 long switches by hand it will record in forward)
Solenoid does move when I touch “play/rec” reverse - “forward play” and “reverse Play”
The slide rail / Solenoid just does not respond to “PLAY/REC” Forward
I am looking to find out what component drives the Solenoid for “PLAY/REC” Forward
The Solenoid wires go to the rear rectangle board next to the rca in-out jacks
Anyone with Ideas?
Reverse Solenoid Adjustment ?
Thanks
