We are about the age of down-sizing. Recently I hurt my back and decide to start from the irons.
Here is a pair of TANGO HIRATA FW-50-5 push-pull output transformers in die cast cases. Indeed I have two pairs of FW-50-5 on which I experimented and compared different EL34 circuits and topologies side-by-side, e.g. inverters, bias, pentode/triode/UL connections, NFB, etc. There are cosmetic blemish of normal use; never been abused. They are tested for conductivities among primary or secondary. Insulation between primary and secondary poles are confirmed by multimeter (see photo; no shorts).
Specs (according to manufacturer brochure on the internet):
Impedance Primary (Zp): 5K Ohms P-P with UL taps
Impedance Secondary: 0-4-8-16 Ohms
Power: 50 Watts (30Hz)
Frequency Response: 5-60k Hz (-1dB, 4v, 2rp=zp, Ib=90mA)
Primary Inductance: Max 640H, Min. 170H
Max DC current: 260mA
Power Loss: 0.3dB (16 Ohms)
Dimensions W117mm D117mm H104mm; Weight 4.6 kg
Color: Black
Asking $600. Buyer to pay actual shipping+handling from Boston, MA, USA.
