Hi guys,
Here are my recently finished speakers, the first time I have attempted anything like this!!
They use Hi-vi d6.8 drivers and Hi-vi sd1.1A tweeters
18mm MDF with internal brace,
Bi-amped with 2 x peter daniel 3875 kits + Rod Ellliot active x-over ~ 2.2Khz (more info in chip amp gallery)
Using precision port, 13 Litre enclosure tuned to 44Hz
OregonDV spikes,
Still deciding what finish to eventually do on the green mertyl veneer.
Regards and thanks for all your help:
Dan

Something différent in speaker. Full carbone and aluminium speaker. I have posted this project in a other post some month ago.
This is a 3 way speaker. I use the revelator series from Scanspeak. The box is made with a sandwih carbon/coton/fiber
For the speaker support I have used aluminium 30mm cnc.
Filter 2° 410-2800hz.
All dévelopment realisation is made by my self.
My amp is a Aleph 5, pre Aleph 1.7, cd Ayre CX7 all connection xlr.
Incredible system.

I'm searching for a good crossover design for my proyect : Vifa XT300 KS/4+ Dayton RS52+ 2xEton 7-360 Hex. Any suggestion?
Clean & Sexy, i like that alot, yet so simple too. GREAT WORK!
sonus inspired
And my system:
loudspeakers: inspired by SF Amati, SS9900 + 2X Vifa PL18WO08-09 "lute" shape box.
and a view of system:
CD + DAC Parasound, amp NAD 3020i. Now there are any changes: Transport: VRDS-7, DAC: Parasound 1600, amp: Gainclone + 6SN7 preamp. Sounds beautiful .
Regards
Marek

Re: FireBall
seriously interesting project, please accept this as a compliment:
"you're a crazy-man"
is that last project as in "never again, that nearly killed me", or "just catching my breath 'til the next inspiration"?
