system error memory dumpfiles ?

You can delete them. Whenever a machine crashes, usually to the blue screen of death, it will dump the contents of memory to a file for debugging purposes. Size of file depends on the amount of system RAM in use at the time.

You can disable this feature under "System Properties", "Advanced tab", then "Startup-recovery" options.

I had a blue screen recently. I tried to view a YouTube that a friend recommended to learn how to check my gun fit.
As soon as I clicked on the go icon, the PC crashed and a message on screen said it had to protect itself.
No misbehaviour since.

I'll remove the dump.

Disk Cleanup is not removing the 808MB of dump files. Tried twice with the tick and OK and it still reports the same size of file.

Yes, bought a very old Miroku trap last week.
And now I've been offered a fairly new B725 sporter with lots of extras.

Restart still leaves that 808MB.
Did another clean and still there. All the others that I ask to be deleted disappear.
