some update results on the SSR-02. I increased in input supply voltage to -12v and got it running correctly. I had built it for -5v but, for some reason, I'm getting -8.18v out. (will work this out with Peranders) With the increased input voltage, the led lit up and all seems good. The new 0 to 2k plot is vastly improved. Note the vertical scale is now 1uVrms, prior plot was 100uVrms.

I built the Jung Shunt Regulator posted in AudioXpress. I built it as shown in the schematics and following the layout tips in the original articles - except for the opamp which is an LME49710 (had a few on hand). The measurement results are powered from the same lab bench supply as the Sjostrom regulator in the prior post. One note, it is a bit sensitive to supply voltage, if input voltage is to high the output voltage decreases. Seemed to like the range between 19 to 21 volts in about for 15.77 vout. Above 21 volts the output drops - at 22 volts in output is 10.3v. It also takes 5 seconds or so to come up to a stable voltage.
