When you spec'd the "Westend" did you work this up using the MJK MathCAD?
They seem relatively tall for living room seating height. I trust they sound great. Just curious about the height.

Really? Where do you live? Regardless, on the coast, marine grade is common, so use 3/4", [11] ply, which is what I've historically used.
No, it's one of my '60s alignments I used to vet his software.
Well, there's some good acoustical reasons for making them tall, but mostly I did it originally because I'm a 'front row center' kind of guy, so with live sound system's bass drivers tending to be up around head height or a bit higher...........
