Thanks! Those will help a lot ! I just had contact with the guy and he sent me the service manual.

@Steven, I still don't get the high cutoff frequency: monitors are supposed to be as neutral as possible throughout the entire frequency range.
So if you use the low cut filter @500 hz, you'll need one hell of a sub (or 2) to fill up the low end without coloring is distorting! Tascam's own LF-S8 has a flat frequency response from 30Hz to only 120 Hz!
