I think the volume will be fine but it won't pound like some of the cars you're used to hearing and the distortion will be quite high. The lightweight cone tends to deform, which is a desirable thing for guitar speakers. They call it character. Not so in a dedicated bass driver.
ye i know its not what i want.. i want a digitals designs 12 .. which i will eventualy get.. btu since i go thsi lieing around n i love building stuff i thought id put it in a car. um so what box should i make that be best.. like size n port size etc.. been trying to use winisd.. but when i put in t&s specs it says cant convert floating point?? n also if i cna get it working what frequencies should i be looking at getiing the loudest etc? only seventeen and only getting into all this spl stuff last few days.. cheers!
