SSE - A question about hum.

Hi Gootee, your concern and remedial suggestions were plumb on the
nailhead. I twisted together the switch wire and primary wires of the power
transformer and Presto ! the hum is gone. Thanks a lot for your most
helpful suggestions.
Although I had all the other wires twisted I couldn't twist the primary wires
because of the positions of the switch and IEC adaptor, so your suggestion
to twist the switch and primary wires did the trick.
Here are a couple of before and after pictures, hope they upload okay.

Also a thank you to Sodacose for his suggestions.

The masking tape holding the wires are just temporary. When I get
everything done I'll do a better strapping of the wires.
