Small cabinet with a good sound?

IMHO, better to use PRs where possible when it comes to small portable speakers. They give you a lot more flexibility in tuning and add a little dust/water-proofing.

I'll probably stay with the vented design, for me a PRs are a little "sketchy", you can get a big 3.5" one from partsexpress or an ebay one with unknown characteristics. My point in this build is to make it as small as possible with as good tuning and sound as possible.
