It's the same arrangement for a vol pot.
The two resistors acts as an attenuation/resistor ladder.
The voltage across 6800+10r is split into the voltage across the 6800r and the voltage across the 10r.
Vout = Vin*10r/{6800r+10r}

Yes, after last Salas's comments I got that we use classic V divider. Thank you guys. I'll test it soon and let you know. I can convert mV to dBm, but do not know how to convert to dB. Or dBm is good enough to see channels differences.

20*log(1.057) = 0.48 dB difference

OMG. I tested it quickly by swapping L&R channels and all loudness moved to other side. So, FSP is perfectly fine and it is my cartridge. 3 times repaired and still POS. I need new one! By money that I already spent on it I could get nice Koetsu.

That was by swapping inputs coming from the TT? If its not about wrong anti-skating then its the cart itself. See about Audio Technica carts also as they are built accurately and priced moderately.
