I've been looking for a pre-amp for a while and can't decide what to buy. I looking for that deal with most bang for the buck that never comes and i'm almost at the point that I should buy good quality, near produced high end stuff that use to be kind of expensive.
Then I started to think about to build something myself (It don't have to be THAT cheap) and started to search for DIY Pre Amps and found many intresting builds and thinking that I also want to make that.
I know how to solder somewhat OK, can see different between components but I lack degree in electronics and don't really have any skills to brag about when it comes to troubleshoot electronic circuts. I also don't have any workshops-space so it have to be my kitchen that need to be part-time workshop.
Can someone slap me in the face so I wake up and tell me that this is not for me and move on in life?
