short in 300b

a few months ago I had a short in a Svetlana 300B. As a result not the BG went upstairs but my caddock resistor measured only a few hundreds ohms afterwards. This caused the second 300B (JJ) also to go to higher spheres. I discovered the bad caddock of course after the second accident :xeye:
It is of course also possible that the caddock started the whole tragic thing in the first place. Perhaps we should start a thread about failing caddocks under 300B's ;)
