I have a first order filter where the woofer inductance is compensated with a RC to keep the impedance at 6 ohm.
I want to experiment with baffle step compensation and add an inductor ( like a second order filter for the woofer section).
It seems to me that first compensating for, and then adding an inductor is unnecessary.
Can i ditch the RC compensation and add a inductor minus the inductance of the woofer. Any flaws in that thought?
