Just to update you all on how my Seas project (Seas CA 18RNX woofers and 27 TFFC tweeters) is coming.
Well, I did Bjorns tweeter crossover, and now I must say these speakers are starting to sound pretty darn good! They image like there is no tomorrow. I was listening to the Half Speed Mastered "Mr. Blue Sky" by ELO tonight, and they speakers threw a huge wide deep soundstage, spreading well beyond, above and below the speakers. These drivers are very highly recommended.
And a very big thank you to Bjorn! Would not have happened so easily without him!
Now, anyone know how to tune the port full of straws that ProAc put into these cabinets? They tuned the box to 50Hz, and I gotta tune it to 45...

Re: Welllllll ......
{sigh} Gonna make me work hard now, huh?
Seriously tho, they are NOT pretty right now. The boxes requires some cleaning up of the cosmetics, but they sure do sound nice!

Aside from Crossover parts and cabinets, the drivers should run less than $200 US.
All the crossover and other info is on the previous thread:
