I made a sub using Seas l26 roy driver + hypex ds2.0 amp to extend the bass of Genelec 8030's. Here's a link to full worklog + couple of images.

I'm using the built in 85hz roll off switch and made a similar setting to Hypex crossover.
Genelecs and this subwoofer are connected directly to my external firewire soundcard. So this is pc sound system, not connected to av amplifier etc.
First I tried using Genelecs full range and Hypex crossover around 50hz but sub didn't integrate good enough.

Very nice work, but in the interest of cosmetics you covered the plate amp's only cooling surface with a perspex insulator. Those amps don't get very hot being efficient Class-D, but nonetheless the manufacturer does use the aluminium plate as a the sole radiator for the output transistors.
