Hi Fred,

Sorry for the late response.

The final thickness was around 3/4", this was done with 1/8" ply. To start I put one layer on at a time; however, after the first layer was on I did two at a time. You might be able to do more layers at a time but I found that 2 at a time was my limit.

I like your plan on adding a couple pieces the same as the top and bottom to the middle.

Thanks for the reply Sam. I talked to a guy at the place I am getting my bb ply from and he also thinks I can do mulitple layers at once. I plan on doing a test section in the next couple of weeks to see how easy/hard this is.
