All the parts to build two of these things should be well under $20. I'll post a photo when I'm done!

Finally got around to building the thing. I don't have it hooked up yet, but I had completely neglected the actual size of the components in my original diagram, and that threw me off a bit. Might have been easier to use regular protoboard instead of the the stuff with all the traces I'm using (what I had laying around).

New diagram is attached...hopefully I'll get music running through it sometime over the long weekend!

Could anyone please send me or make me available the NEC602 schematics? as far as I can see, neither the jpg nor the pdf links are active yet...

I was thinking about upgrading the clock, and adding SPDIF reclocking, with a separate power supply, but I have read a previous post in this thread that seems to suggest that a "super" clock is possibly not the most important thing to address, for CDR602. I am right, or my impression is wrong?
