Hello everyone I have a Rockford Fosgate 250m2 giving me a problem.
I recieved the amp with a blown power supply and shorted output fets. I removed all the output fets to eliminate problems upon powering up.
I replaced all 6 p/s fets with new IRF3205 fets, replaced all 6 gate drivers with new 47 ohm resistors, and replaced 4 drivers transistors. The amp will not power up it draws full current on my power supply and makes a loud buzzing noise insided the amp and the p/s fets get hot.
Since there is no output fets installed it cant be a shorted output. I was wondering maybe if it could be a shorted transformer?

It could be a shorted transformer.
Have you checked the resistance across all of the solder pads for all of the missing and newly replaced transistors to see if there is possibly a solder bridge?
If there are no bridges, remove the rectifiers to see if that reduces the current draw.
