in hind sight a little bio on the item pictured:
Viking (no discernable model #) console still original amp/tuner/phono and still original speakers after shelling out 50 loonies i only needed to spray the controls with a good cleaner and replace an output cap yeah it's that old the output was an old totem pole style!
works great but probably deserves updating.

As long as it works great and, more importantly, sounds great then just leave it alone. Don't go fixing something that isn't broken.

(If I could follow the advice I just dished out, I'd save myself a lot of headaches. But I'd also be bored, so...I ignore this advice)

as soon as the nice winter we're having this spring leaves and i can open the garage i've got a tube consolette that is a perfect candidate for some fullrangers! (porn to follow)

Nice!

P.S. I don't know where you are, but here in the desert it is full-on Spring! 22c in the shade and hot in the sun on the weekend when I was working on this project in the carport. :p

Braggin' !

Ever since I moved here from Ontariario about 20 months ago I take every opportunity to yap about how awesome it is to live here. Please forgive me. (I really should be trying to keep it a secret, as one of the best things about it is the lack of too many people).
