How do you place yours?
Thanks
I don't own these speakers and have never heard them.
If you must this may help :

but I'd regard the Totem's are well optimised and suggest
you'd probably be wasting money on expensive capacitors.

You can replace the solen cap with a foil-film PP cap such as Musicap,...etc.
The resistor it used can be replaced with non-conductive precision resistor such as Mills,... etc.
There must be better choices.
However, availability concerned, the recommanded parts are easier to obtain.
As to those silve-oil caps, I don't think they are much better than PP+PS caps. The effect of the extra money would be very small.

I did an A/B test comparing Solen 7.5uF 400V MKP and ICW SA Claritycap 6.8uF | 0.68uF = 7.48uF 630V and the ICW is much better than the Solen which sounds grainy in comparison. The cap was used for the tweeter. ICW caps are of MKP type and I can get them for about the same price as Solen.
