Rega P9 RB 1000 combo any good ?

So The P9 went back to shop I did like it but

It was ex demo and back of plint look like it did not mnatch the rest of it
So basicaly a second hand table I think that they rely wanted to get rid off
Funny as they never mentioned that the RP8 was going to be out later on in November which me think does not much good to the opinion I have of the dealers.

Now has any one tried the RP8 noises are that it may be better than P9?

At that price I have decided to send send it back I could have had the one used for demos for £1600 but it would have been a bartered second hand one and I did no like the mismatch on the wood plint probably it was one that has been repaired or a factory second.

Sound wise it is a pretty decent turn table with not complaints.

But Rega has same new models out like the RP8 at £1600 and a few more on the pipe line...

Before I commit to this kind of purchase I have to listen to the ORBE
