I've already thrown in my two bits, based on my personal experiences with Plitron CFB transformers. For the power and requirements you need, I think they can't be beat.

You did not read the entire thread. The OP is recycling a pair of Hammond 60 W. rated trafos. Much of the discussion has focused on dealing with the limitations of that "iron".

As for the Harman/Kardon Citation II, I own a Jim McShane refurbished unit. :D About the only speakers I would not mate with the "chocolate behemoth" are big Thiels, with their outrageous impedance dips. The "Duece" has a BIG pair of "cojones". ;)
