Sorry samoloko, all my original design notes for this early design were archived in storage before we moved out to the Hebrides over four years ago. I am currently far too busy to go looking for this information or build one to measure it.

Unfortunately, Bobken regulator cannot be implemented with negative rails.

... but could two of these regulators, tied in a bipolar manner (with input grounds isolated from output ground; possibly separate transformers/windings for each regulator), be used to achieve a negative output rail?

this is Paul's design, he corrected the above statement only a couple of posts afterwards, you can use it for N or P
