Well... If you have one with fully balanced inputs, that would probably work. The home amp/receivers work well because they're audio ground is floating.

Radio Shack has a 'mini-amplifier' that works well if you're willing to spend $20-25 for it and the cables you'll need.

You could desolder the capacitors feeding the distorted channel and feed the driver board with the signal from the good channel. Pins/pads 1 and 2 of the driver board are the input. Capacitors C202 and 203 (or 102 and 103 for the other channel) are the caps that couple the peamp board to the driver board.
 
Have you checked the outputs (check for shorts between all legs -> 1-2, 1-3 and 2-3)?

Have you checked the emitter resistors and the solder connections on them? Confirm that the resistance is within tolerance by placing the probes on the traces connecting to the resistors. This will confirm that there are no bad connections between the resistors and the board.

If none of the above are defective, look all of the SMD components on the main and driver boards with a high power, lighted magnifying glass to see if you see any with surface defects.

Have you checked the solder connections between the driver and main board?
