yes, Iv'e read the entire thread. I know that the volume control is IR, I'm obviously not requesting that as a feature, more the option to be able to trigger relays or something to turn off more than one piece of equipment. Usually, when I shut down my system I have to turn the amps off first and then all the signal processing stuff. Would be very cool to have a means to be able to hit one button and that sequence to take place.

here is a photo of the insides of my preamp.

It's basically a bunch of modules from ESP. I'm using a ESP P05b power supply that has a unregulated AUX voltage of around 20v I could use that with a LM7805 to power it.

Upates :
I made a little (big) mistake on the volume control module!
After reading the data sheet a little bit more, I found that pin 11 (agnd) stand for Analog Ground, and not... address gnd.. which it why I tied it to gnd...
I've managed to isolate the problem on my already made pcb. I'll do some more testing using this board. I might need to add a "Wheatstone Bridge" (4 resistor x 2 channel).
Next time I'll take time to read everything -_-
Anyway I'll be able to save this little PCB.
I've attached the revised PCB
