Almost Finished

Hi Everyone;

The amp is almost done, all I need is two ICs which arrive Monday.

I opted for the 3" speaker as it will be less peaky in the small enclosure.

The amp is 5.5"w x 6.75"t x 3.5"d (14cm x 17cm x 9cm). The oak pieces are solid 1/2" oak, and the front and back panels are 1/4" hardboard.

The batteries are installed inside the enclosure, hot glued to the back panel. Changing batteries will require removing the speaker. They are NiCd rechargeable, and there's a trickle charger on the PCB.

bug list

errors on the PCB <so far, knock on MDF>

- C6 PCB footprint sized for reflow, hard to hand-solder

- D2 schematic symbol wrong, needed to rotate SOT23 180 degrees

- DC Jack J3 has third leg on wrong side, no issue, it is not used so simply broke it off the connector before attaching

- J2 silkscreen much larger than actual part. Actually, J2 should be changed, as it is the largest on the PCB and smaller are available
