u can connect the two 2*40/150VA transformers in parallel , be carefull while doin so ,u got to properly phase those transformers.
imho u cant connect the other toroid because it got different power rationg , connecting different power transformers is not reccomended plus it got different voltage out !!

i think the 550VA will be jus enough for the 2 amps
i use voltage regulators for the gain stage so another psu is not needed

Good idea. Separated PSU for driver stages reduce the distortion

One transformer for driver stages, more than enough. The 550VA toroid is enough for 2pcs. of 150W amplifier.
