It falls into solid state category and I finally decided to share these photos. Maybe someone will be inspired by elegant shape and rich color scheme. :)
Nothing special, it is just modest 100 watt subwoofer amplifier. The only interesting thing here is the 3 position power switch. Amp can be enabled by remote signal from main amplifier. Due opto-triac and power relay there’s no any power consumption in “standby mode”.

Hi Vostro, I'm i the Free state, I got the mosfets from AP electronics, seems to be old good stock, they are a bit pricey, but it is good money, it seem to be the real deal, I have pushed the amp real hard , there are no problems, it's superb, the mids and high's are so much diffrent. I can hear stuff that I have never heard before !

...this is my newest solid state project: a Pass Aleph3 pure ClassA amp.:worship:

Facts:
- double mono design with two separate power supplys
- 2x 225VA toroid transformer
- 2x 80.000uF Nover high ripple power supply (Pass design)
- 2x mono speaker protection
- 2x soft start
- 2x fuse

Weight is about 20 Kg (40 pounds)
Woking temperature is about 50- 55°C (122- 131°F)

Sound:
- priceless! ;)

But take a look for yourself...

I've heard my first Aleph3 about 10 years ago.
Since this moment i never forget this sweet warm sound.
The second unbelievable experience were the LS3/5a.
Now i'm 10 Years older and in my studio standing the dreams of my youth...

I'm sooooo happy!! :worship:

(I built about 20 Amplifiers, but the Aleph was the crowning project...
it will be hard to beat this ensemble)

Very impressive build entenschreck. Looks like a fairly massive amp, and I'll bet it sounds just as impressive. Like your simple 2-channel rig setup too. :)
