Possible GB for LT3045/3094 PCB (ref SMD FC CEN IV)

@ZUM911 - Thats no issue at all - I have cancelled the paypal request, so you might get a notification of that. Thanks for reminding me!

To all others - many thanks indeed for all your payments. I will be parcelling these up over the next week or so and hope to ship around the middle of next week all going well. I will send a notification to each of you with tracking etc at that time.

Hi all,

Last update for now at least. All packs have gone out, and you all should have an email from me with your tracking number. I expect it will take a couple of weeks for them to arrive to you all depending on the postal system and customs where that applies.

Happy building!

Great!!

Folks, I'm after seeing one typo in the build guide that you have in your packs. In the list of components, I have mistakenly noted Rset at 10k - it should be 150k for 15V as per the LT3045 or LT3094 datasheet. Correct value is mentioned elsewhere, and correct value is in the kit (for anyone who got a kit).

I would also say, the datasheets are essential reading before you build these regulators!

Thank you,mine arrived.
I am sorry for noob question,I want to confirm for RL value before order.
Miro'sAd1862dac
FC CEN IV 〜300mA
For 500mA lt3015,lt3094
584-LT3045EMSE-1#PBF
584-LT3094EMSE#PBF
Lt3045 RL -1.6k
Lt3094 RL -40k
Dose it correct?

@tamra

FC CEN IV only draws about 30mA per rail per channel. So if you want to use 1 set of LT3045/94 for 2 channels, you only need say 80mA or so per rail.

In that case, use RL=1k8 for LT3045 and RL=47k for LT3094 (this is ~80mA per rail).

Mouser: 584-LT3045IMSE#TRPBF and 584-LT3094IMSE#PBF are what were supplied in the kits - I would advise you to use these.

I afraid for mistake soldering,shorted or heat too much but it worked.
I am sorry that I have some noob question.
1)Do I need some cap bank before or after regulator?
2)I am using Miro's ad1862 and the PCB have shared gnd.
If I don't want to share,lift 3pin of FC cen IV and connect gnd?

@tamra

1)Do I need some cap bank before or after regulator?
The LT3045/94 regulators should be fed with regulated DC - the absolute maximum input DC is 20V, so best to keep this at 17V/18V maximum. Keep the LT3045/94 close to the FC CEN and you won't need caps at the FC CEN - but they will not do any harm.

2)I am using Miro's ad1862 and the PCB have shared gnd.
If I don't want to share,lift 3pin of FC cen IV and connect gnd?

I might not be understanding exactly what you mean here, but all grounds will have to be connected. Ground on the Miro DAC board will be connected to FC CEN anyway through the current output to FC CEN.
