Thank you for your offer but the fault is repaired.
It was an invisible print crack between R176 and C176.

Great you found it - will check PCB's and discuss with board manufacturer. Hundreds have been build, and they all run, except one in Mexico, where very (out of spec) high mains voltage killed some elctrolytic caps

I have also experienced at rare occasions micro cracks in the pcb. They have been tested OK but later in the process they have failed. It's not common error though.
