A few have been tracking a long build started out as Single ended monoblocks about a year ago. Finally got them to the full monsterblock configuration. F6s operating in balanced mode being fed by Roon thru a Benchmark DAC3. The sound is amazing. So much detail but very relaxed and enjoyable.

Yar. Long story as I tried cobbling them together from various parts available from Modushop. Then @Gianluca came thru with some prototype pieces they had laying around and now the entire chassis is offered for purchase thru their website: https://modushop.biz/site/index.php?route=product/category&path=322Very nice, tight, but not crammed!
Mini dissipantes?
Did he sell you the UMS heatsinks for an add on price? I don't see option that available on the website except for the MonoBlocksYar. Are you talking about the 300mm or the 400mm deep chassis? At the moment I've only added the substitution for the 300mm heatsinks but in case you need the 400mm deep heatsinks I can add those as well
Yes, but only only listed available as substitutes on the Modushop site for the monoblocks, not for the Dissipante or Mini DissipanteAre you talking about the 300mm or the 400mm deep chassis? Ok I've worked a bit on these and they are now all available, you can find them here https://modushop.biz/site/index.php?route=product/search&search=SUB-PD&description=true
Ha! I went the same route, also with a prototype mini dissipante 4U. Mine got rather crammed (big caps and whatnots ).Yar. Long story as I tried cobbling them together from various parts available from Modushop.
The UMS option was an addon, negotiated with gianluce. (If I recollect it corretly)

The 4U 300 Mini Dissipante is a great size for DIY Pass amps.
6sX7 and myleftear, you both have done very well putting your amps together neatly and effectively! Much more clean than my F5 implementation. Gianluca also helped me piece things together from various parts and customizations. I’m glad the option is more readily available now.

I always love to see other's builds and how they lay the boards and wiring out. Keeps providing me inspiration to make it look better.Ha! I went the same route, also with a prototype mini dissipante 4U. Mine got rather crammed (big caps and whatnots ).

Yours is intricate, with parts unknown to me!Much more clean than my F5 implementation.
@6sX7 , how is the thermal dissipation in the F6 Mini Dissipante 4U 300mm? Is it fine for long term play (assuming no AC in the room...)?
In any case, thanks for the pictures. It is very good info to assess how things could fit before doing an estimation and cutting some cardboards to have a better guess!
Have a nice day

I set the bias at 600mV. The warmest spot I've found on the sink wall (trough between fins) is 48 C. I can put my hand on the fins and, while quite warm, can leave it there indefinitely. Somewhere here, need to check the bias again and take some Pin 2 temperatures.

Build a Sony vfet amplifier with k60 / j18 without matching. Initially only with 2 pairs of k60 / J18. The sound is beautiful and a little hot. Then add another 2pairs of parallel k60/j18.
