Honestly the best source for you is probably www.diysubwoofers.org. There are formulas there for several different types of boxes
The Loudspeaker Design Cookbook by Vance Dickason is also very much worth buying or checking out. Other books that should be accessible at your level are the Radio Shack book by Ray Alden - I think it is called Advanced speakers.... David Weems has written several books, one of which is the Great Sound Stereo Speaker Manual.
Look at Amazon or your local library for titles by those Authors. Some of the older Weems books had a basic program listing in the back which will show you how to code the formulas.
