PSE 300B

My latest project. Done at last! Build a little ammeter with a pic 16c773 using the a/d converter and a couple of instrumentation op-amps. The little screen has a very cool blue backlight....hard to take a picture of! 6SN7(parallel connected)=>7027A=> 2x300B's

I used a Hammond 272JX for power and filiment. I use the 6.3v winding and run it through a LT1084 linear regulator to get the 5v for the 300B's and also pull the 6.3v as DC before the regulator for the other 2 tubes just using a dropping resistor. Silent as a mouse! You also see a Hammond 5H 200mA choke and a Hammond 1640 OPT. MelB
 
Very nice upskirt 845! It caused me a moment of disorientation, at first I thought I was looking into one of the grand old RCA transmitters from the classic era I had the pleasure of maintaining. (Yes, that's a compliment. They were amazing machines.)
