Got the idea mate ;) Here you go:

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Notice the short distance between power tranny, choke and OT.
No hum, no noise at 100dB loudspeaker.
Those R-core can't compete with amorphous core
but are a decent bang for the buck. Mid and highs are nice.
Rod's filament supply is in the frontpanel, at the copper strip.
Coupling done with 1uF Audicap and two 0,1uF Cardas.
The TCC oil is a little inductive, fine for that first position.
Wiring between HT rectifier and first cap is shortest possible.
LV supply has been split in noisy front (near tranny)
and 'clean' end at the tube sockets.
Finishing the plinth is for today, as is tidying up wires.

Here is my latest project.
It is my take on the new Transcendent "Son of Beast" output transformerless tube amplifier.
The design was built from the circuit that appears in Bruce Rozenblit's latest book "Tubes & Circuits"

It uses the earlier 40V heater PL509/519 top cap sweep tube rather than the newer production octal based JJ EL509.
Other than that I followed Bruce's circuit and layout to the letter.

Hi Steve,
Congrats with your new "son" OTL ...
Nice unit.
Did you a "point-to-point" wiring (or pcb)?
Did you a test/measure about power output (before clipping) and stability Dc-output?
My experiences with OTL T12(concept Trancendent): the PL519 is a good tube (even second hand after test).
(This is not a product placement)
