philips 2.1 spa 5300 subwoofer not working properly. it uses TDA8947J

hello,
the satellite speakers are working properly but the subwoofer is not producing bass as it used to produce before..even the sound of satellite speaker are suppressed when the bass signal is increased from the window media player..plz tell if TDA8947J is working fine...plz help

So you are comming off your computer to satellite speakers and a Phillips brand sub. I would first suspect some setting in the sound card.

i think sound card is fine as the subwoofer is producing the same result with other devices also..
