OK... i see,
I have similar from the bars and frame, but it extends into the wings and did not show the large peaks as suggested, i do have foam at top front and rear and being 3 way could make the difference ...
I did originally have a 5 db peak at 10K and was able to control it after modifying xover and frame, for an reduction of 3 db .

I'm sorry guys this is a different design.

The first cavity is made of the space between the two steel bars that hold the magnets. The second, bigger, is made of wood. The second one is easy to see at the bottom of the picture.
Suggestion: line the cavity surfaces with wool felt.
I thought about doing that then switched to --_-- with no rearward portion...
