Passive means for bass extension ??

To hear 30 Hz in a room requires a speaker that can move a lot of air. Add to that the fact our ears are less sensitive in the low bass. A 5" driver with the typical 4mm of Xmax will only produce a meager 86db/w/m output and with audible distortion. Also, this excessive cone motion will warble the midrange and all inner detail will be lost.

Hi,

You can't use any sort of BSC filter below ~ 100Hz. Full stop.
Stupidly expensive and it doesn't work due to impedance peaks.

Even if it did, which it doesn't, its an inane way of making a say
100W per channel amplifier hardly better than a 10W amplifier,
as real speakers all need some BSC except for corner placement,
which universally sounds pretty dreadful for all small loudspeakers.

:cop: Guys let's keep the tone respectful, and to the OP there has been a lot of good advice given, worth heeding unless you want to drive the knowledgeable contributors away from your thread, and finally a little more care in editing quotes please - I fixed a lot of broken quotes in this thread.

Actually never started with a 5" driver keeping the needed Xmax for 30Hz into consideration. Instead using a low efficiency 10" driver with Xmax of 14mm crossed at 300Hz to a FR driver as in a FAST configuration. Minimal distortion from cone motion of the woofer :)
Thanks for all the inputs anyway.

Seems like you have your drivers somehow picked out.
If you haven't tried it yet, get familiar with Passive Crossover Designer. It's the best FREE program out there that will let you generate accurate models to your heart's content with all the ideas you may have regarding BSC, etc........ :)
