The XP30 is pretty spectacular, particularly on sonics. It also has a couple of
features that I requested - dual sets of outputs with variable level adjustment
between them for bi-amping, low impedance output, and enough gain and
voltage swing to serve as the front end for a 150 watt output follower stage.
Is it semisouth equipped?
Fantastic design. I love the dual mono with the controller integrating the two chassis. I am curious about a couple of things, and I understand if you don't want to answer. What kind of volume control did you decide to implement? Also, is it a unity gain buffer up to a certain volume control, or is there gain at all volume settings?
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I understand if you cannot or don't want to answer, I am just curious about the decisions that you made to create a seemingly no holds barred statement preamp.
Aaron.

The aux volume controls are Alps, the main is something else. The unity gain or pass through is just a setting on the volume control the circuit is always active with gain. More info is coming.
I look forward to hearing more about the "something else". I understand if you can't say much yet. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
