The PCM1794 has +/- outputs
As far as I recall, pcm1794 has twice the output current needed, so you'll have to scale down the gain in order to avoid clipping. But it should be easily done.

Thanks Cviller I've been searching around trying to find some info how to use it with a dac that has +/- outputs , if I had a balanced pre etc I'd just build a pair of D1's, balanced in balanced out but I need line out.
I presume theres some instructions in the manual how to connect it up to various dacs?

You won't find much instruction in the manual, but d1 is balanced anyways. You make 4 identical iv stages and use two for each channel. I have single ended preamp, so I just take the signal between + and gnd on the output of the iv stages. A bit of a waste really, but I'm planning on building another preamp to match my F4...

Ok thanks, I was hoping to be able to use just a pair of the D1's mainly to keep things compact with the PCM1794 dac, oh well

Hi cviller,
Did you build the D1?
