Some time ago I acquired one Tannoy red 15. My plan is to keep it against the possibility of eventually finding a mate for it, and then constructing suitable cabinets.
Ideally it'd be best to find another 15 red, but ... were I to find (say) a Gold 15, could these two be matched successfully?
Obviously padding might be necessary, but what other issues are there to consider?
I'm thinking it might be best to replace the XO's with an active XO and bi-amp.
Thanks
Doug
