I understand where you are going with this, however, try your plot with the long length being vertical, keep the image triangle relationship the same, and at the same height within the room but you might want to move the speakers toward the front wall (behind the speakers) (listeners viewpoint). the dipole was upsetting your other calc (unless you are using BOSE theroy, which I am not).
Another thing to remember is that what looks good on paper doesn't mean it will sound good..
Hey, Tube amps distort WAY crazy compaired to bipolar or mosfet and look mental on paper, BUT which ones sound better to our ears ? IF ya say anything other than tubes, I'll be out a here.
