The only thing i've spent any time listening too the AN 12's. They sound real nice. Impressive sound stage considering its a 12 inch speaker. I was a little worried about that. Yes they're a little dircectional but i'm setting them up for one guy anyways!
As far as the IB385-8 15's go- I've only thrown them in some old 15 inch boxes. Not at all what they're designed for. Just as you would suspect very boomy. But when they where booming it was annoyingly loud! I couldnt turn the Sub amp down low enough.
Definately got some tweeking to do- but thats half the fun. I'll keep ypu posted.
